With an intuitive, interactive design, players will develop Git skills effortlessly as they progress through the game. Join the ranks of the elite space explorers and emerge as a Git master!
Thanks AI for generated sales pitch :) Back to earth, WarpSource is educational game aimed at learning Git. Currently, there are 7 levels that will help you learn basic Git commands:
- Level 1: clone
- Level 2: pull
- Level 3: stage and commit
- Level 4: push
- Level 5: branch and switch
- Level 6: merge
- Level 7: resolve merge conflicts
Game itself won't explain Git commands; it will ask you, for example, to clone a repo, but won't explain how - it's up to you to search elsewhere and find out how it should be done. Game should only provide a drive to learn.
If you already know Git, it won't take you more than 10-15 mins to complete the game. If you are in the process of learning, I'm not sure how much it would take, so feel free to post in comments, and I'll update.
Future development will depend on feedback and support received. The idea is that next Git challenges get more complicated as game progresses, so the game could provide entertainment for intermediate and seasoned Git users, as well.
Thanks,
Upskill Catalyst Studio

Hi There!
This looks very interesting, thanks for creating it!
Is there a way to configure the 3d stuff e.g. resolution and such? I have a very old machine and it's very laggy.
Also in level 1 the level overlay never disappears for me making it difficult to read the other popups.
Cheers!
